I've totally missed out on the Lost bandwagon. I guess back when it first came on, I just wasn't into watching television. [Nowadays it's all about HEROES for me.] In anycase, the commercial above was originally posted on the photographer David LaChapelle's website. It's fabulous! The soundtrack by Portishead is a hauntingly perfect match.
I think I was first introduced to his work back in '94 with the Diesel ad of the 2 sailors kissing at port. His portraits are highly stylized and extremely heavy on the post-production but he indeed has a unique vision. Other artists that come to mind in this style are Pierre et Gille and Aaron Cobbet. Both equally as fierce and gay! Hmmm...there's a MySpace contest posted on David's website ...
