Oh how TRUE this could be for the people I work with. My office is indeed GHETTO. This pic has been circulating around for a while and is a little on the "extreme" side of exaggeration, but ... it's soooo true! My fellow coworkers and officemates are generally a bunch of nice people. Don't get me wrong and please don't hold it against me, but some people's idea of CASUAL FRIDAY vs PROFESSIONAL CASUAL attire is something that is lacking in a proper definition to say the least. The latter is the manner in which we are supposed to be dressed during the week. I think I play it pretty safe with my own choice of clothes. Most, if not all I wear is from Banana Republic. I do wear jeans on Fridays, but I always make it a point to wear some type of woven collared shirt tucked in at least. It just makes one wonder if it's just a west coast / southern Los Angeles kind of thing. I dunno.
(Wow -- I hope I'm not coming across as some kind of snob or something. I'm not. REALLY, I'm not.)

OMG Snob! Hahaha. Kidding. I know what you mean. When I was in Phoenix, our office took that Friday casual thing a little too far - velour sweat suits, too many unsightly belly rolls...gah! It was sick!
I woudl never wear shorts or a t-shirt. I always had to have something with a collar or it just didn't fell right.
