My mom just figured out how to use the IM function with her GMAIL address. She was at work and we spent about a half an hour chatting with each other. One of her replies was, "Wow! This is fun!" LOL. Bless her heart. I was like thinking to myself, "Doesn't she have work to do?"

Cool! Go Mom! What's more important - work or talking to her son?? I think we know the answer :)
My Mom still doesn't quite get it - she has AOL (I know, I know!) and keeps asking "Why can't I see you online? Are you blocking me??"...*sigh* It was bad enough having her get e-mail!!
