I just bought me a new digital camera this past weekend. Nothing special -- just a 6 megapixel HP dohickey. Take a look at my Flickr photostream to see some things I've been taking at the beach and then some. After my initial photography education back in college (ahem in the late '80's), I haven't really used a camera for the sake of taking "artistic" photos in any sense. Maybe this will turn into a new creative outlet for me.

Those are some great pics! Hermosa Beach looks really nice. I liked the one of your converse sneaker. Haha.
We've neve rbeen to LA - maybe one of these days.
