Was it me or were tonight's Academy Awards distinctly VERY gay??? Ellen, Melissa, Queen Latifah, Jody Foster, et. al. Ellen even said it in her monologue, "If it weren't for Jews, blacks, or gays there wouldn't even be an Academy Awards tonight!" Ellen did great as host. I'm glad that Jennifer Hudson won as best supporting actress too. I'm sure it was just killing Beyonce that she got more attention. LOL. She did look good, though. Thank God she wasn't giving the standard armpit pose as much.
The telecast was shown live here which is something that doesn't happen too often on network TV. I think the coverage started here around 3:00 in the afternoon. What I thought was funny was the Barbra Walters show going on AFTER the ceremony. That is surely something that you took for granted growing up with watching television on the east coast.
