Here's a blast from the past for ya! Just click on the link above. You know it wouldn't be me if I didn't ponder about 'back in the day,' right? LOL. It was the summer of 1991. I had been done with college in Manila a few months before and I'd rediscover clubbing with old buddies. Back then, it was a place called Tracks and I'd be bopping along to this (and many other songs) to no end. It was always about the music for me. It was always something that made me happy. I always felt that 'feeling' inside. I don't know -- without delving into the cheeze factor -- I won't try to explain it. It's just amazing to think back on that time and figure out how I had so much NATURAL energy. If I found my groove on the dancefloor I'd go on and on and on and just stopped only to give my friends a break. I was younger and a lot more naive then, but still -- I kinda prided myself on not drinking or doing drugs. The proverbial 'natural high!' Ha! Little did I know what would be in store for me a lot later in life. Anyway -- it's almost 20 years later and I'm still into the music. I definitely don't go out as much and my vices are pretty much relegated to the EATING sort nowadays. But, hey, I've still got great memories of the 'good ol' days' that I will never forget. Devotion INDEED!
