The new season of
American Idol started tonight. It's not the same without
Paula. *sigh* LOLOL. Meanwhile, the big news that came out today is that
Simon Cowell is leaving after this season to start an American version of his
X-Factor show. Hmmm. I have yet to watch a full episode of that show. I'm still trying to figure out how different it is from Idol.

The difference is pretty tenuous. The X Factor has 4 categories: Boys, Girls, Over 25s and Groups. Each of the judges mentors a the finalists in each category so it's supposedly a competition between the judges.
