"Twouble with Twitter"

You can't deny that Twitter has gotten out of hand REALLY fast recently. All with Ashton Kutcher getting over 1,000,000 followers to Oprah fiddling with her TW*T (or something like that) this week, you can't deny that it's the 'it' thing to do for now. In the past week alone I started following about a dozen new people or things that I found interesting. At first it was with people I actually knew. Now, I follow airlines, dj's, and even The Gap for some reason.   So now I've got Twitter , this blog , and Facebook that I maintain daily.  For now, I'm going to play along.  It's not a problem yet ... I don't think ...

Anyway, this is last (RE)post of other people's stuff tonight. HI-lar-ious!!!!

Harder, faster ... one more time.

I posted this back in June, but I'm putting it up again for my friend Alixe from work.  She thought the Disney version I put up the other day was cute.  This one 'might' be a little cuter for some people...

I heart PSB.

On Valentine's Day I put up a post stating I HEART U.  Although I it wasn't really officially dedicated to anyone in particular, I can now say I really HEART PSB.  The Pet Shop Boys, that is.  I've definitely been a fan of theirs from the beginning.  I've only seen them once live and they are amazing!  Can you say, "DRAMA for days?"  Yes honey -- total theater.  Blogger buddy Enda at Daddy or Chips? blog sums it up all quite nicely here.

Last night after 25 years of being in the music business, they get recognized at THE BRIT AWARDS for 'Outstanding Contribution to Music.'  I tried catching the show yesterday while it was being streamed live on the interwebs, but I couldn't connect.  Thank goodness for YouTube!

At Night.

Shakedown - "At Night"

This is one of those recurring songs that I have permanently stuck in my head. I've never seen the video before, but has a cute homage to MJ's THRILLER. The video itself is typical of European clubs songs and does not to have the actual artist in it. At least this one just has ONE (sort of) scantily clad woman acting all sexy and things. Most of them have gaggles, but that's neither here nor there. The track was an all-time favorite of mine during my DC/NYC/DC shenanigans and DJ Victor Calderone's EVOLVE parties at Crobar. Ahh - those were the days. :-)

Uh oh oh oh oh oh.

Time for my Beyonce report for the day. LOL. Looks like Dancer552 has gotten over 1,000,000 hits for his dance rendition of "Single Ladies". The video below is an updated version with a costume change.

Another take on the Daft Punk bootleg videos for Harder, Faster, Stronger. Watch til the very END!

Single Ladies.

I LOVE this song! I don't think real people are actually in this video. The dance moves are just too crazy. LOL. Meanwhile -- apparently the 'darker lady' is the choreographer AND a trannie! Hmmm. Not sure if its true, but FIERCE nonetheless. For some reason I just can't get it out of my head! Bonus video #1 at the bottom of a boy doing the same dance in his bedroom. FIERCE as well. Bonus video #2 is another mashup but this one showing the actual moves done by Gwen Verdon and choreographed by Bob Fosse. She copied again - not so fierce anymore. ;-)
