No photographs please.

From Pic a day
It looks like Amy was pulling a "no paparazzi" moment tonight at Pinkberry. I was craving a frozen dessert treat today after work. I treated myself to a yummy coconut flavored yogurt with sliced almonds, shaved chocolate, and yogurt chips. Mmmmmmm. $5.00 well spent!

Nothing to hide.

I'm getting such a kick out of these clips from Air New Zealand. If only my airline days looked like that. Erm, after 2nd thought, there's a lot that I probably DID NOT want to see back then. LOL.

I need some chicken wings.

This is a KILLER recipe - literally.  Snoop Dogg on Martha Stewart.  Go figure.

KKBCB.

Yes, it's a Krispy Kreme Bacon Cheese Burger. For those of you not in the know about this brand of donuts, well, let's just say it's a little slice of deep fried yummy goo. It IS, really. Apparently this particular concoction takes it a little bit to far though. Apparently it's being served in Google's corporate cafeteria. Read the original posting here.

Magic.

I'm actually kind of diggin' this new track from Robin Thicke. The song is called 'Magic' and you can see the video for it here. As you can see, he's an incredibly good looking guy who knows how to dance! Believe it or not, I'm not totally ALL ABOUT screaming diva vocals over a house beat! I will always have a soft spot for great male vocals and this guy can more than deliver. Think Jamiroquai vs Justin Timberlake remixed to a mid-70's Philly soul sound!

Japonalian or Italianese.

For Mother's Day brunch today I went with my local family to a restaurant in Lomita, CA called IL CHIANTI. Yes, I went to a Japanese style Italian restaurant today. Only in California?!? No honey, it's a small chain of restaurants and surprisingly it was kinda good! Believe it or not, the entire wait-staff and kitchen were all Japanese. Instead of bread you could substitute it for rice! You could even substitute pasta with traditional Japanese soba noodles too! I love it. The whole experience today reminded me about the CHINO-LATINO restaurants in NYC. "Would you like eggrolls with your beans and (fried) rice?!?"

Some swirly goodness.

Yes, it's all about the PINKBERRY! Right now it's only available in California and New York. It's sort of hard to describe -- is it yogurt or isn't it??? There's a distinct slight sourness to it but pair it with some fresh fruit, chocolate chips, or cereal you've got a whole lot of yummy. Think frozen Yakult or GoGurt. I've had it twice so far this week and I think I'm hooked!
